Wordpress SEO – Can it be improved?

I’ve decided that improving the SEO level of Wordpress will be my next plug-in project.   I expect it to be a learning an eye-opening experiment, as there are at least as many opinions on what is optimum SEO as there are themes for a Wordpress blog.

Windows 7 implements OS X dock

According to this early review from Gizmodo, the best feature so far in Windows 7 is the dock.  Not surprisingly, the dock looks a lot like the OS X dock that’s proven so useful in the Mac world. Read more…

Picasa for Mac

Google announced today during Macworld the immediate availablity of Picasa for the Mac.   While I’m beginning to become a little pessimistic the Google matra (I have yet to actually use Chrome for more than a passing hour), Picasa is a solid photo library management utility that will certainly keep iPhoto on its toes.

I’ve not quite jumped over the fence with Random Gemini, but this is another reason why I may consider it.

Media outlets lagging in Mobile Web

Random Gemini has a great post about the state of local news outlets and the state of the Mobile Web.

Many news web sites, especially those using platforms such as WorldNow and flash-hungry or proprietary video players simply aren’t ready for the Mobile Web.  I think this is a great opportunity missed for many of these established media firms.
